Playa Avellanas, Costa Rica can get really fun; it is 30 minutes from Tamarindo, and when it’s in excellent condition, it has a long right wave. This beach has a series of rocky reef breaks, beach breaks, and a river mouth.

Costa Rica Private & Group Surf Lessons
Lessons begin with 30 minutes of instruction, a warm-up exercise, body stretches, practicing multiple surf positions, and Johan explaining how to read the ocean and its ever-changing conditions. Then...we surf!

 

These private and group surf lessons in Costa Rica include: photos, rash-guard rental, surfboard rental, and a drink (water or coconut)

Things to bring for the lesson: Sunblock (water resistant with zinc), a bathing suit and towel

Location: The departure point is at Tamarindo beach, Guanacaste. Costa Rica. Transportation to the Avellanas surf spot is included in the package. The vehicle is regularly sanitized for travelers.
